Do you need a driver's license for an electric bike?
- AM or B license required
- Minimum age: 16

Do you have to wear a helmet on an electric bike?
- Classic electric bike (≤ 25 km/h): no obligation
- Speed pedelec (45 km/h): mandatory helmet, complying with EN1078 standard and offering reinforced protection for the temples and back of the head.
Are you allowed to drink alcohol on an electric bike?
- Maximum 0.5 ‰ alcohol in blood
- Novice drivers (less than 2 years' driving experience): maximum 0.2 ‰
- Exceeding the limit = heavy fines or loss of license
