What are the minimum requirements for selling my electric bike?
We take back the majority of electric-assist bikes in good working order purchased after 2014.
Your bike must be undamaged and roadworthy. It must not show any structural damage (e.g. cracked frame) and you must always have the battery, charger and any keys (battery or frame lock).
Depending on the state of our stocks and the assessment of demand, we may temporarily suspend the trade-in of certain brands or models of EAB.
How is the trade-in price calculated?
Our buy-back price is based on the new value of your bike, its mileage, and market factors such as demand and seasonality for your model. We also factor in our reconditioning costs, so that the future owner can enjoy a bike in perfect condition, with a one-year warranty.
How does bike shipping work?
Collection of your bike by our carrier is free of charge and is handled in Belgium by our partner MyHomeDelivery.
We give you two options:
- Unpacked shipment: no need to find a box, protect and pack your bike beforehand. This option costs €20.
- Shipment with packaging: this option is free of charge. However, you will need to pack your bike in a cardboard box. Don't worry if you don't have the original box: you can usually find one free of charge at your local bike shop, or order our shipping kit on our website, which will be delivered to you within 3 to 5 days.
How does payment work?
Once you have accepted our offer, we will ask you to enter your bank details (IBAN) securely. Once the bike has been received at our reconditioning center and the arrival inspection has been validated, we will proceed with the payment transfer within 24 hours.
