  • Photos of the bike taken in our workshop so that you can check on its condition

  • A detailed description of its condition, enabling you to identify any minor defects (scratches, dents, etc.).

  • The number of kilometers covered by your bike in its previous life

  • Our size recommendation based on precise bike measurements

Who we are

Founded in 2021 by Toussaint Wattinne and Stéphane Ficaja, Upway has operations in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and the United States. With more than 10,000 bikes passed through our workshops, Upway is the leading platform for reconditioned electric bikes at the service of ecomobility. 

A team of 60 people

At Upway we are committed to ensuring that your experience is a memorable one.

  • More than 30 mechanics work in our workshops in Paris, Berlin and New York to ensure that your electric bike is as close to new as possible.

  • Our support team is available every day on chat from 9am to 7pm to answer your questions and guide you in your choices (#WeAreNotRobots).

  • Our tech team ensures that the shopping experience on our site is easy, fast and secure, while offering you a wide range of purchasing methods (credit card, bank transfer, payment in instalments...).

  • Our marketing team is always on the lookout for the best ways to pack your bike so that it doesn't get damaged in transit, while minimizing the impact of our packaging. So we limit ourselves to what's necessary, and make sure we use sustainable or recycled materials.
