How will the sale of my electric bike go?

Step 1: Send us your request. Go to our pageanswer 10 questions to get your estimate, and contact us if you're not satisfied.
Step 2: Prepare your shipment. Depending on your location, you will be offered different collection options. In all cases, shipping is at our expense!

What electric bikes can I sell on Upway ?

We take back all electrically assisted bikes purchased since 2016. Don't forget to specify any damage to the bike so that we can adapt our offer. Finally, the bikes must also be unrestricted and usable within the legal framework.

What accessories do I need with my used electric bike?

In addition to your bike, it will be necessary to send us the battery, charger and key. We will not be able to take back a bike without these items.

Is it possible to sell a bike that no longer works?

We cannot take back bikes with serious frame damage (cracks). For any other malfunctions (motor, battery or other), you will have to report them at the time of your request. We will then study the situation (ease of finding the corresponding spare parts and associated costs) and adapt our offer accordingly.

Can I sell my bike on Upway and buy a new one with the proceeds?

Not at the moment! You will therefore have to sell your current bike separately - you will receive the sale amount directly into your account - and purchase your new bike.

How do I send my electric bike?

The collection of your bike depends on your geographical location. If you are close to our workshop in Gennevilliers, you can either bring it to us yourself or take advantage of our free collection offer by a bulk carrier (there is no need to pack the bike). If you live further away, we will send you a national carrier, which requires the bike to be packed in a box. You can either find a box at a nearby bike shop (usually free of charge), or you can order a shipping kit from our website to be delivered to your home.

What happens if the bicycle sent has technical problems that were not reported?

In this case, we will contact you and make a counter-offer that takes into account these unforeseen technical problems. You are free to accept this offer or not - in which case we will return the bike to you free of charge.
