Step 1: How to sell your e-bike online at Upway

That's always the starting point. It all begins at home, on your computer or phone.
You fill in your e-bike details online and choose how you want the bike delivered.

What exactly do you do?

  • Select "Drop-off at UpCenter."
  • You can immediately see which Upcenters are available (such as Mechelen).
  • You choose a date that suits you
  • You finalize the sale

Step 2: What happens when you deliver your e-bike?

On the chosen date, you go to the Upcenter in Amsterdam.You don't have to ship anything, pack anything, or dismantle anything.

What should you bring?

  • Your e-bike
  • Included accessories (charger, key, screen)
  • Your identification document

You hand over the bike to an employee and your active role is almost complete. No waiting for a courier, no risk of damage during transport.

Step 3: How does the check-in and bike inspection process work?

Step 4: What happens if the check-in is not validated?

Sometimes something may not match during the check. This is not necessarily bad news.

What happens then?

  • You will receive a document explaining the reason (CFI – Check Failure Information).
  • You are given resolution options, such as: an adjusted price, additional information to be provided, or cancellation of the sale.
  • Important: your e-bike remains safe at Upway you decide what to do next.

Step 5: When is a bike not accepted?

In some cases, Upway accept the bike. This only happens if the e-bike differs irreversibly from what was declared.

Examples:

  • Serious damage not mentioned
  • Irreparable technical problems
  • Incorrect or missing information

You can then cancel the check-in and leave with your bike. The process is transparent and without obligation.

Why is drop-off new and important at Upway
