Your questions about payment methods

General information on payment methods

What payment methods are available?

You can pay for your electric bike by Bancontact or credit card. Payment in 2, 3 or 4 instalments (free of charge) is possible via our partner Alma for orders under €5000.

It is possible that your order exceeds your credit card limit: please contact your bank to increase it if necessary, or pay by bank transfer.

I'm buying an electric bike with my company: can I reclaim the VAT?

Only bikes purchased from professionals and not previously owned by private individuals are subject to VAT: in this case, the VAT will appear on the invoice automatically sent to you, and you will be able to reclaim the VAT. Contact us directly to find out if the bike models you're interested in are subject to VAT.

How can I retrieve an invoice after my purchase?

An invoice will be automatically sent to you by email when your order is shipped.

Pay in instalments with Alma

Can I pay in instalments?

Payment in instalments is made through our partner Alma and is available for all orders under €5000. You can choose this option at the payment stage. The total amount of your order will then be divided into 2, 3 or 4 equal instalments according to your preference, without any additional charges.

We also offer payment in 10 instalments for a fee corresponding to 3% of the price of the bike: if you choose this option, Alma will ask you for proof of identity and access to your bank account in order to validate the payment. This is a legal requirement for payments in more than 5 instalments.

Why is Alma asking me for my bank details?

When you request a payment in instalments with our partner Alma, they may ask you to authorize them to consult your bank transaction history. This request is made if Alma does not have enough information about your financial situation to make a positive decision for a payment in 4x or less, and systematically for all payments in 5x or more (this is a regulatory obligation). You can learn more about this on Alma's Help Center.

Why was my Alma payment request rejected?

There are several reasons why your payment request may have been rejected:

> The total amount of your order exceeds €5000

> Your card does not have the necessary funds and card limit to pay the first instalment.

> Your bank card is no longer valid, or is a prepaid card

Don't hesitate to contact Alma directly by following this link.

Pay by credit card

My credit card payment failed: what should I do?

We invite you to contact your bank to check whether your card limit is sufficient to pay for your order. If not, we advise you to pay by Bancontact.
