Upway reconditions used Le Vélo Mad electric bikes. This brand, created in 2018 by two childhood friends, pursues two main objectives: to offer consumers high-quality, good-looking ebikes that also offer great value for money, but also to showcase French ebike know-how. Le Vélo Mad ebikes are designed and assembled in France. They go straight from the Manufacture Française du Cycle production plant in Machecoul, near Nantes, to the customer's hands. The brand was formerly known as "Le Vélo Mad In France", before changing its name in 2021.
Le Vélo Mad electric bikes combine technical features, riding comfort, aggressive geometry and elegant design. They are the result of two years of development and the work of designers from the world of MTB, but also from the world of fashion. These bikes have everything to satisfy you: they combine a selection of technologies, elegant materials and are as easy to use as they are durable.
How to choose your used electric bike Le Vélo Mad
At Upway you'll find the best used Le Vélo Mad electric bikes, including its flagship Le Sport and L'Urbain bikes. The Le Sport ebike ebike features a closed frame, with a straight center bar and handlebars, and a sleek, elegant design. It offers sporty ridewith a forward-facing rider position. It weighs 18.5 kg and is equipped with a 375 Wh battery, enabling it to cover between50 to 70 km. It also features a motor delivering 45 Nm of torque. Vélo Mad has released an improved version of the Le Sport model, the Le Sport 2 electric bike, with improved integration and range. As a result, the battery no longer protrudes at all from the downtube, and gains in capacity.
Upway We also refurbish the Le Vélo Mad L'Urbain model, a VAE with a semi-open frame, similar in features to the ebike Sport, but with a more upright riding position. With its drooping bar and softer handlebars, it offers a smoother, quieter ride. It's ideal for both urban and rural in both urban and rural environments. This model is also available in an upgraded version, the L'Urbain 2. The Sport 2 and L'Urbain 2 each weigh 18 kg: a very reasonable weight when you consider that most urban electrically-assisted bikes happily exceed 20 kg.
