Tern GSD

The Tern GSD is the ultimate cargo bike for families and professionals. This model was designed as a greener, smarter alternative to the minivan and offers an impressive gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 210 kg.

Capacity and safety

Thanks to its elongated frame and sturdy rack integrated into the frame, the GSD can effortlessly transport two children (from toddlers to teenagers) or even an adult passenger. The luggage rack alone can support up to 100 kg. Safety is a top priority: the frame and fork have been rigorously tested by the EFBE institute in accordance with the strict German DIN 79010 standard for cargo bikes.

Road handling and engine performance

The GSD is equipped with the powerful Bosch Cargo Line motor, specially developed for heavy loads and offering up to 400% assistance. A unique feature is the DualBattery option, which allows two batteries to be used simultaneously for a range of up to 206 km, ideal for long days without the stress of recharging. Despite its power, the GSD is the same length as a standard bike, ensuring excellent maneuverability in urban environments.

Tern HSD

If the GSD is the minivan, the Tern HSD is the compact SUV. Shorter than a conventional city bike, the HSD nevertheless offers remarkable load capacity with a total weight capacity of 180 kg.

Versatility in a compact format

The HSD is ideal for those who want the benefits of a cargo bike without its bulk. The Atlas H Rack rear rack can carry up to 80 kg, enough for a child, an adult passenger, or a week's worth of groceries. The frame has recently been reinforced: it is up to 15% stiffer at the head tube and 39% stiffer around the bottom bracket, providing even more stability when loaded.

Comfort and ease of use

Like the GSD, the HSD has a low step-through frame, making it easy to get on and off. The bike is designed to be shared: thanks to the adjustable stem and seat post, it can be adapted in seconds to riders between 1.50 m and 1.95 m tall.
